We had a fabulous day Sunday, October 22, for a walk in the woods. The new conservation area at 40 Caves has a parking area off Francis Street in Clinton, an informational kiosk, and well-marked trails. The walk was led by Dan Stimpson of Sudbury Valley Trustees. At the end of the walk we had a free drawing for a LARGE pumpkin that was won by the McElheneys, long-time Clinton residents.

The Massachusetts Office of Dam Safety has declared the dam in the Fyfeshire Conservation Area on Wattaquadock Hill Road unsafe, and has required the Town of Bolton to either repair or remove it.
